BIO IN A NUTSHELL
Cinematographer & Creative Media Director
Simon Enderby Media is a Danish registered company (CVR#43936689) based out of Odense in Denmark where Simon now lives and operates from. Simon is an award winning and highly experienced cinematographer across air, sea and land as well as working with 360º cameras above and below the waves. Having successfully helped develop and produce award winning and highly acclaimed commercials Simon has proven to be an accomplished creative media director, writer as well as experienced project manager. Simon has traveled extensively around the world over the past 26 years as senior DOP and former CEO of Scubazoo Images, East Malaysia on the island of Borneo.
Simon graduated from Aberdeen University with a BSc (Hons.) degree in Animal Ecology & Marine Zoology. Simon joined Scubazoo in early 1998 and worked hard to become their senior award winning cameraman before finally taking over as CEO, working alongside business partner Jason Isley (CVO). Simon has dived and filmed on a myriad of natural history, scientific and environmental assignments. These have led him all around the world (numerous times in fact) from Malaysia to Mexico, Papua New Guinea to Vancouver and Maldives to New Zealand.

Simon has production managed and filmed on many big budget projects such as APPLE TV+ Becoming You, BBC Top Gear Borneo, Marco Polo – Netflix, Big Blue Live BBC, Conquest of the Skies with Sir David Attenborough, Last Chance To See with Stephen Fry and Mark Carwardine, Deadly 60 with Steve Backshall, BBC Human Planet – Oceans.

Simon's underwater cinematography work has also featured in several large international Silver Screen productions as well as commercials and advertising projects for the likes of Samsung, Tribord, Kilroy Travel, Four Seasons and Harbin Beer to name a few. It was during many of these projects that Simon's experience and development as a Creative Media Director came to the fore.
Simon is also exec producer and DOP for Scubazoo’s very own online TV Channel - www.scubazoo.tv. Simon was also a founding member and vice- chair of SPADA-EM (Screen Production and Development Association - East Malaysia.

Whether filming from the sky, mountain top, jungle or beneath the waves with the latest in drones, 8K cameras or 360 VR rigs Simon aims to record high quality images to help raise awareness and educational values for as many people as possible.
